I am Y5 class teacher judged to be consistently ‘outstanding’, in addition to this I regularly manage the whole academy in the absence of SLT.
I am currently mentoring an NQT and working as an ITT mentor.
I am a member of the Quality Improvement Team, which involves me being responsible for particularly areas of the school development plan and ensuring the school’s priorities are being met and evaluated for impact.
As mentor of the Middle Leadership Team, I have led others in carrying out work scrutiny, planning monitoring and lesson observations to ensure teaching and learning is of a high standard.

2012-2013:

Year 5 class teacher- with a particularly challenging group of children. Educational Visits Coordinator - this involves me monitoring and authorising risk assessments to ensure safety and risk are well managed.
I have regularly mentored NQT’s.
A significant project for myself and the Academy has been the work I have done in supporting a colleague to implement Kagan as a whole school strategy – Kagan is a teaching strategy which is proven to develop co-operative learning and independent strategies for children.
